In a surprise Ukraine visit yesterday, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken declared a vision for Kyiv’s victory. The United States is desperately trying to make up for lost time to save Ukraine after Congressional Republicans stalled funding for months.
This will not be an easy task. The Russians have taken advantage of Ukraine’s lacking the means necessary to defend itself. Cities in northeastern Ukraine including Kharkiv, the country’s second largest, are hanging in the balance.
